MP Weather: Temperature crosses 34 degrees in Khandwa-Khargone, new system will bring clouds, chances of rain on 18-19 February

There are continuous fluctuations in the weather of Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday (15 February 2026), the temperature was recorded below 10 degrees in many districts. The lowest minimum temperature of 8.6°C was recorded in Karaundi (Katni). However, the highest maximum temperature of 34.1°C was recorded in Khandwa in the state. Apart from this, it was 11.5 °C in Indore, 11.7 °C in Gwalior, 13 °C in Bhopal, 13.5 °C in Ujjain and 14.3 °C in Jabalpur.

At present, the weather pattern will remain the same on Monday-Tuesday, but due to the effect of western disturbance which became active on February 16, there is a possibility of cloudy sky along with isolated drizzle or light rain on February 18-19. Its effect can be seen in Gwalior-Chambal, Sagar and Ujjain divisions.

Mercury below 10 °C (minimum) in these districts

  • 9.2 °C in Pachmarhi (Narmadapuram)
  • 9.4 °C in Kalyanpur (Shahdol)
  • 9.6 °C in Rewa
  • 10.0 °C in Rajgarh

Temperature crosses 30 °C (maximum) in these districts

  • 34.1 °C in Khandwa
  • 34.0 °C in Khargone
  • 32.8 °C in Narmadapuram
  • 32.2 °C in Ratlam
  • 32.1 °C in Talun (Barwani)
  • 31.4 °C in Indore
  • 31.1 °C in Gwalior
  • 30 °C in Jabalpur

Due to the new system, there is a possibility of drizzle along with cloud cover again.

  • According to the daily report of the Meteorological Centre, Bhopal, at present a new Western Disturbance, which is visible as a trough in the mid-tropospheric westerly winds, is located at a height of 5.8 km above mean sea level. The westerly jet stream, with a central wind speed of about 259 km/hr and located at a height of 12.6 km above mean sea level, lies over North India.
  • Due to its effect, there may be drizzle with movement of clouds in Chhatarpur, Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Sheopur, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh and Neemuch districts of Gwalior-Chambal and Sagar and Ujjain divisions on 18 and 19 February. Around February 19, cloud movement can also be seen in Ashoknagar, Guna, Bhopal, Indore and Raghavgarh. At the same time, the minimum temperature may increase by 2 to 3 °C.
