Former Indian captain MS Dhoni, former captain and head coach Rahul Dravid, great leg-spinner Anil Kumble, legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, former cricketer and Karnataka State Cricket Association president Venkatesh Prasad were present at the wedding ceremony of Arjun and Sania. Everyone gave their blessings to both of them for their new beginning.

The most emotional and happy moment during the wedding was seen when Sachin Tendulkar was seen showering flowers on his son and daughter-in-law. With a big smile on his face he blessed the newly married couple. The ceremony took place with utmost simplicity and warmth in the presence of family and close friends.

Arjun’s wedding rituals began earlier this week with many traditional rituals and celebrations. Pre-wedding events including a mehendi and sangeet function were held in Mumbai, which was attended by many former and current cricketers. After months of preparations and celebrations, he married his long-time partner Sania Chandhok on Thursday. Arjun and Sania got engaged in August last year. In which some close people were involved.

Arjun is a cricketer like his father. Arjun Tendulkar is trying to create his own identity in domestic cricket. After starting his career from Mumbai, he has established himself as a reliable bowling all-rounder while playing for Goa. Apart from this, he has also been associated with Mumbai Indians and recently he has been traded to Lucknow Super Giants, which is expected to give a new direction to his IPL career.

Arjun’s fiancee, Sania, is a Mumbai-based entrepreneur from a well-known business family. She is the granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, chairman of Gravis Group. She has made her career in the pet-care and animal welfare field and works as a veterinary technician and entrepreneur.
