MS vs RP match prediction: Who will win PSL 2026 match 14 between Multan Sultans and Rawalpindiz?

Multan Sultans will once again be in action against Rawalpindiz in the 14th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 on Monday, April 6.

MS vs RP match preview

Multan Sultans, the table toppers of PSL as of now will enter this game with confidence on their side. The side has lost only one match so far, which came in a rain affected clash, and have managed to win the remaining three encounters.

Led by Ashton Turner, the team has shown impressive form with the bat. A similar performance was witnessed in the previous game when Steve Smith played a brilliant 53 run knock, which also marked his first half century of the league.

Their bowling unit has also looked well balanced, with players like Mohammad Nawaz making an impact. Overall, Multan Sultans appear to be a well-rounded side in both departments and will enter this contest as clear favourites.

Now coming to Rawalpindiz, things are not looking good at all. With three losses in three games, they are sitting seventh on the points table and problems just are not fading away. In their recent game against Islamabad United, they were thrashed, a crushing defeat that has dented their net run rate.

Even with experienced names like Daryl Mitchell, Sam Billings and Mohammad Rizwan, their batting has looked very ordinary. Players are getting starts, but no one is converting, and that is hurting them. Meanwhile, in the bowling department, led by Mohammad Amir, they are showing neither control nor consistency.

MS vs RP head-to-head record

Both sides have yet to face each other in PSL so far; this will be their first meeting.

MS vs RP pitch report

Gaddafi Stadium has been a mixed surface this tournament. Some days it turns into a batting paradise where scores go past 180 easily, while on other days it slows down and helps bowlers a bit more. Early on, the ball comes nicely onto the bat, but as the game goes forward, it can grip a little. Teams will need to adjust quickly depending on how the pitch behaves.

MS vs RP key players

Daryl Mitchell(RP) – The right-handed Kiwi batter has shown some promise but still needs to step up. Despite getting starts, he hasn’t been able to convert them into big innings, and that is something his team badly needs now.

Sahibzada Farhan (MS) – The only centurion in the league so far, Farhan has been in sensational form. He just needs to continue what he is doing right now, and there are high chances he will deliver again for his side.

Mohammed Amir (RP) – Amir has shown good control with the ball. Even if wickets are not coming regularly, he has not conceded too many runs. All eyes will be on him once again.

Muhammad Ismail (RP) – The 20-year-old right-arm medium pacer is in decent form. He has shown potential, but still needs to work on his economy a bit. If he gets that right, he can be a very useful option for his team.
