Promotion of MSME in Bihar, inauguration of technical centers in four districts including Patna

Patna. To strengthen the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in Bihar, the Technology Center at Bihta, Patna was recently inaugurated. Along with this, extension centers were also started in Muzaffarpur, Rohtas, Darbhanga and Munger.

On this occasion, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi jointly inaugurated these centres.

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that through these technology centers, entrepreneurship will be promoted in the state and the youth will get new employment opportunities along with technical training. He said that the state government is working towards the goal of self-reliant Bihar by strengthening the MSME sector. He also urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi to establish 10 more such centers in Bihar.

Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that earlier there was not a single extension center in Bihar, whereas now their number has increased to about six, out of which four have been inaugurated today. He said that through these centres, local industries will get the facility of modern technology and training, which will give new strength to micro, small and medium industries.

The establishment of these technology centers is expected to give new impetus to industrial development in the state.
