Billionaire Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man, has big plans to transform his hometown Jamnagar in coming years, including making city a hub of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the near future. Addressing a grand event to mark the 25th anniversary of Jamnagar Refinery, Mukesh Ambani unveiled a slew of transformational plans for the city.
At the celebratory event, which brought together Reliance Industries employees, their families, and key executives under one roof, Mukesh Ambani hailed Jamnagar as a city which has transformed India’s energy landscape, and outlined five ambitious plans to for his hometown to to transform it into a hub of innovation and industry in the coming future.
The Reliance boss announced his company’s vision of making Jamnagar Refinery as the world’s best oil refining, which will set unparalled standards, and also spoke about opening the world’s best gigafactory, which will pioneer advancements in generating clean energy solutions and create state-of-the-art infrastructure that supports green energy technologies.

The billionaire further said that Jamnagar’s Vantara will continue to be hub of Reliance’s dedicated nature and conservation initiatives aimed at biodiversity, animal protection and conservation, reflecting the company’s commitment to protect the environment.
