Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani, is leading the company’s retail sector and lifestyle brands. She has quickly taken charge of the retail segment and has partnered with foreign brands to introduce them to the country. She has also planned to ensure the sale of these brands through the company’s e-commerce site.
Did you know where Isha Ambani started her career and why? She began at McKinsey before joining Reliance. After completing her education, she chose not to enter her family business right away. Instead, it was a strategic move for her to work at McKinsey first, as she wanted to hone her skills before venturing into the family business.

After her time at McKinsey, Isha Ambani joined the boards of both Reliance Retail and Reliance Jio in 2014. She began exploring expansion opportunities in the retail sector and developed new strategies to enhance business in the telecommunications industry.
Isha said in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) that she is quite confident to double the company’s retail business in the next 3-4 years by expressing her trust and ability of the team.
