Dahod News: Dahod District Police has done sensitive work to reduce the number of road accidents by seriously doing multi-dimensional analysis regarding the incidents of road accidents. As a result, 85 vehicle accidents have reduced in Dahod district compared to last year, not only this, 69 human lives have also been saved.
Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi has congratulated Dahod District Police Chief Rajdeep Singh Jhala and his entire team for the commendable display of effective traffic management through the use of drone cameras besides special campaigns including traffic awareness, drunk and drive, helmet-seat belt etc.
Special emphasis was laid on road engineering and police enforcement operations along with bringing traffic awareness among the people. In which short-term and long-term improvements in road engineering were suggested by mapping road accidents that had occurred in the last 10 years.
To prevent serious accidents occurring on the highways passing through Dahod district, highway patrolling has been done through interceptor vans allocated in the district, cases of helmet, over speeding, wrong side driving with the help of breathalyzer, maximum cases of drunkenness and speeding. Driving through the gun has been done. Along with this, more and more e-challan cases are also being made through the district’s CCTV network Netram.
Due to which special campaigns were conducted including traffic related crimes, traffic patterns, driving behaviour, wrong side spots, black spots at night. On the other hand, various programs have been organized by Dahod Police to create public awareness about traffic by holding seminars, rallies and distributing pamphlets in different areas of Dahod district.
