A 21-year-old boy was brutally stabbed to death on a local train, and the police have since taken over the case. A minor argument during a heavy downpour on Tuesday claimed the life of 21-year-old Mayank Lohar. The train was moving with heavy rain, forcing Mayank to close the gate. A 30-year-old man named Roshan Suvarna ignored him. Roshan continued to insist that he close the gate, leading to a heated argument.

Around 50 people were present in the train compartment at the time, some of whom filmed the entire incident. Around 11 pm, as the train arrived at platform number 6 of Borivali station, Roshan jumped out of the compartment and fled before it could fully stop. As soon as GRP and RPF personnel were informed of the incident, they rushed to the compartment. Then they immediately took the blood-soaked Mayank to the emergency medical room of Borivali station, and later he was shifted to Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivali, where Mayank lost his life during treatment on Wednesday morning under the constant supervision and treatment of doctors.

The police had made strong preparations to catch Roshan, and they started a big search operation. The police immediately formed seven teams and retrieved footage from over 50 CCTV cameras from Borivali to Panvel. Police officer Khuparkar said that a passenger had filmed the incident on the train, providing a clearer look at the killer.
Roshan, who attacked Mayank, was wearing a black shirt and pants. He was seen roaming around the compartment with a knife in his hand. With the help of video and CCTV, the police apprehended the killer in Panvel. People are demanding strict punishment for him. This entire incident is now going viral on social media. His family is mourning the incident. Everyone is demanding the killer’s death.
