Child performs deadly stunt in Mumbai Metro, administration furious after VIDEO goes viral! warned people

Mumbai Metro Stunt Viral Video: Mumbai Metro, considered the lifeline of Mayanagari, is now in the news due to its speed as well as some careless incidents. Recently, a video is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which a small child is seen performing a very dangerous stunt inside a moving metro coach. This incident has not only shocked the passengers but has also increased the concern of the metro administration and security agencies.

What is in the viral video?

In the viral video, it can be seen that a child is doing somersaults with the help of metro seats and upper handles (Grab Rails). He is jumping from one pole to another inside the coach and doing some stunts which can be risky even for a professional athlete. Although the child looks quite agile in the video, but in public transport like the metro, where there are chances of sudden brakes or technical shocks, this act can prove fatal.

Strict appeal from metro officials

After coming to the notice of this video, ‘Maha Mumbai Metro‘ (Maha Mumbai Metro) officials have expressed deep concern. Officials issued a statement saying that metro coaches are not a playground. He issued a stern warning to parents asking them to keep an eye on their children and not allow them to do such risky activities on public properties.

The spokesperson said, ‘There are strict rules to make metro travel safe. Such stunts are not only dangerous for the child but also cause hindrance and insecurity to other passengers present in the coach. If any untoward incident happens, the parents can be held directly responsible for it.”

Questions arising on security

This is not the first time that cases of stunts have come to light in Mumbai’s public transport. Earlier, many videos of youth doing stunts by hanging from the gates of local trains have surfaced, in which many times fatal accidents have also taken place. Now, such activities happening even within the safe environment of the metro also raise questions on the vigilance of the security personnel.

The authority has also appealed to the passengers that if they see anyone doing this during the journey, then immediately inform the metro staff or the security helpline. In the coming days, it is being considered to further increase CCTV surveillance and security patrolling inside the metro coaches so that such incidents can be prevented.
