According to the information, the sister of the victim, 34-year-old Maina Kundlik Kale, has lodged a complaint in the police station. It is said that the accused Kundlik Uttam Kale used to constantly taunt and abuse his wife because Kundlik had three daughters. There were often fights between husband and wife regarding this.

On the night of 26 December, the dispute escalated so much that Kundlik poured petrol on Maina and set her on fire. As soon as the fire broke out, the woman started running here and there screaming. Maina, who was seriously burnt, was taken to the hospital, but he died before treatment could begin.
