Young man made funny video on expensive rent in Mumbai
In the viral video, Jagrat is seen standing inside a flat which does not even have a balcony. Using this flat as the background, he shares his experience of coming to Mumbai. He humorously says that he came to Mumbai with big dreams, but after coming here he realized that the most difficult task is not to fulfill the dreams but to pay the rent. At the end of the video, he sarcasticly advises people to dream of dreams that do not require shifting to Mumbai to fulfill them.
Although the video was made completely in a humorous manner, it also exposed the reality of thousands of people living in Mumbai. In Mumbai, which is considered the financial capital of the country, house rent, security deposit and broker fees often become a big challenge for newcomers. Many people spend a large part of their income just on living arrangements.
