Municipal Corporation tankers will reach homes with Ganga water for Chhath Puja, proper arrangements at ghats

Chhath, the great festival of folk faith of Bihar, is going to start from tomorrow i.e. Tuesday. 1 day ago on Monday, Patna DM Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mishra inspected various Chhath ponds and ghats and took stock of the preparations for the puja at the ghats. During this, the District Magistrate said that a large number of people celebrate Chhath on the rooftops of houses and apartments, for such Chhath devotees, arrangements have been made to deliver holy Ganga water to their homes.

Ganga water will be made available for Chhathvartis

Let us tell you that the district administration Patna has made special arrangements for those who do not go to the ghat. Through the administration, Ganga water will be made available to devotees and Chhathvratis in homes, societies and colonies through tankers. Patna Municipal Corporation’s tanker will be sent to various wards, through which Ganga water will be made available to the people. The District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police said that from the point of view of convenience and safety of Chhathvartis and devotees, excellent administrative arrangements have been made at all the river ghats, ponds and parks.

Chhath is also celebrated in parks and ponds.

For your information, let us tell you that SSP Mishra said that Chhath is celebrated through Chhathavratis at about 550 ghats of river Ganga and its tributaries in Patna district. Apart from this, Chhath is also celebrated in many parks and ponds. People also celebrate Chhath in their homes, apartments, societies and colonies. In parks, ponds, societies and colonies, all kinds of alternative arrangements have been made by the administration for the convenience and safety of Chhathvartis and devotees. Arrangements have been made for Chhathvartis in about 102 ghats and about 45 parks and 63 ponds on the banks of Ganga in Patna Municipal Corporation area
