Barabanki. A married woman who had come from Gorakhpur to meet her lover living in Masauli police station area of Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh was murdered. The young man has accused his own family of murdering his girlfriend. The police reached the spot after receiving information and started investigation by taking possession of the body.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Arpit Vijayvargiya said on Tuesday that a woman has been murdered in Shahabpur village of Masauli police station area. The woman’s lover Sandeep informed the police about the murder on Tuesday morning. The police reached the spot, took possession of the body and interrogated Sandeep regarding the incident.
Sandeep told the police that he was working as an engineer in Reliance Company and due to work he often had to stay outside. One and a half years ago, he had a love affair with a girl from Gorakhpur. During this time the girl got married in Lucknow. The family members had also got her married, but her Gauna had not arrived yet. But both of them used to meet each other. Was at home these days. Late on Monday night, his girlfriend had come to his house from Gorakhpur to meet him. Sandeep alleges that during this time his girlfriend had a dispute with her family members and they together murdered her.
On getting information about the incident on Tuesday morning, the forensic team including SP, ASP, CO arrived for investigation. SP said that the woman was attacked from behind with a sharp weapon on her neck. She had come to Barabanki from Gorakhpur to meet her lover. Her in-laws house is in Lucknow. After informing the woman’s family about the incident, the body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation has been started on all points.————–
