Muslim Organization Letter To Congress: Three seats of Rajasthan Rajya Sabha are falling vacant in June. If we look at the number of MLAs, then out of these three seats, BJP will get two seats and Congress will get one seat. Meanwhile, it is worth noting that a group of Muslim organizations has requested Congress to consider making student leader Umar Khalid a candidate for Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Muslim Alliance President Rashid Tonk has said that a letter has been written regarding fielding Umar Khalid from the Congress party in the elections. In which it has been urged that the party is committed to constitutional values and believes in politics that takes everyone along.

This demand was raised after seeing the participation of Muslim voters

Rashid Tonk gave the example of 2023 assembly elections to strengthen his claim in this regard. He said that the number of Muslim voters is high among those who vote for Congress in the state. Apart from this, Muslim Progressive Forum President Abdul Salam Johar also supported his views on the same basis.
