Picture of Muzaffarpur will change, CM Samrat Chaudhary opened Marine Drive, gifted schemes worth Rs 1047 crore
Bihar News: To give a new pace to the development of Bihar, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary visited Muzaffarpur today. During this visit, he gifted many big development schemes to the district. The gift that the people of Muzaffarpur had been waiting for for a long time was finally fulfilled today. Samrat Chaudhary first reached Sikandarpur Lake Front and inaugurated the newly constructed Marine Drive. With the commencement of this Marine Drive, not only the traffic system of the city will improve, but it is also expected to completely change the picture of the city in terms of tourism. After the inauguration of Marine Drive, he took a close look at the lake front and inspected the modern facilities developed there for the general public.
Gift of schemes worth more than thousand crores
After inaugurating the Marine Drive, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary reached the main event venue organized on the MIT campus. From the platform of this grand program, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 982 schemes worth a total of Rs 1047 crore under the Urban Development and Housing Department and BUDCO through digital medium. These ambitious plans mainly include construction of modern roads, strong drain system for drainage, development of new parks, urban infrastructure and many big works related to beautification of the city. The government claims that after the implementation of all these projects, common people in many urban areas including Muzaffarpur will start getting basic facilities in a much easier and better way. During the program, the Chief Minister also visited various stalls set up by Jeevika Didis in the campus and talked to the women present there and encouraged them.

A huge crowd of women gathered in the program
A special sight was seen in this development meeting organized at MIT grounds. A large number of women registered their presence in this program of the Chief Minister. Earlier it was generally seen that the participation of women was very high in the public meetings of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, but today the crowd of thousands of women in Samrat Chaudhary’s program also attracted everyone’s attention. This crowd remained a topic of discussion in political circles also. Many women who came to the meeting highly appreciated the welfare schemes of the government, while on the other hand, some women also put forward the demand of the government to further strengthen the security system in the state and to put a strict stop to the increasing crimes.
12 new luxurious townships will be built in Bihar
Addressing the public meeting, Samrat Chaudhary said that the path of progress of Bihar goes directly through the modern development of cities and the state government is continuously working with this thinking. Giving another big good news to the people of Muzaffarpur, he announced that a new modern township by the name of Tirhut will be developed here. He informed that work has been started on a big plan to establish a total of 12 new townships across Bihar. Samrat Choudhary admitted that it takes some time to reorganize the old cities, but the government is committed to strengthening the infrastructure.
Emphasis given on electricity and social welfare
In the last part of his address, Samrat Chaudhary praised the achievements of the central and state governments. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi provided electricity infrastructure to every village of the country, while former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did the historic work of providing electricity to every household in Bihar. Now, taking this link forward, his government is providing 125 units of free electricity to 1 crore 70 lakh poor families of the state without any discrimination. He clearly said that the government never sees the difference between rich or poor while making schemes, rather the biggest priority of this government is to provide government benefits to every eligible and needy family of the society.
