After joining the Registered Testing Pool (RTP), Abhishek and Akshar have to share information about their activities with NADA. Along with this, these players have to be available for testing every day within a stipulated time limit. If the athlete does not provide information about his whereabouts three times, it is considered a doping violation. Other cricketers in the RTP include India’s current Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill, opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, wicketkeeper KL Rahul, fast bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Tilak Verma.

Apart from this, Indian team’s all-rounder Deepti Sharma, opener Shefali Verma and fast bowler Renuka Singh Thakur, who won the historic Women’s ODI World Cup last year, are included in this list. Overall, 14 cricketers have been included in this list by NADA. The number of players participating in athletics in the last NADA registered testing pool was 118, which has now increased to 134.
