Nadia Khan claims she was victim of paid trolls

TV host and actress Nadia Khan recently revealed she had been the target of coordinated trolling campaigns, where individuals were allegedly paid to post negative comments about her.

Appearing on Hasna Mana Hai, Nadia opened up about the repeated negativity surrounding her Ramazan programs and other TV shows. During the conversation, host Tabish Hashmi observed that her recent show seemed to spark controversies, suggesting that some criticism felt forced.

In response, Nadia explained, “A few years ago, none of this would have been an issue, but now, social media has developed a new model of targeting people. Channels and individuals use online platforms to undermine each other. Whenever a new show launches, people online claim that money is being spent to create troll armies.”

She admitted to facing pressure to retaliate, stating, “I was advised to invest in countering the negativity, but I didn’t want to waste money on something like that. I chose to let it go, but it’s clear this trend exists. Rival channels seem to feel threatened by the success of certain shows, so money is poured into trolling and generating viral content against them.”

Currently, Nadia hosts Kya Drama Hai on Channel 24, where she continues her work despite the challenges posed by online smear campaigns.
