‘Nadiya Ke Paar’ will be released again on the big screen after 43 years
Mumbai The film ‘Nadiya Ke Paar’ released in the year 1982 (nadia’s feet) was a superhit classic film of that era. Sachin Pilgaonkar and Sadhna Singh starrer, this film is said to be based on the first part of Keshav Prasad Mishra’s novel ‘Kohbar Ki Sharat’ and it was shot in Jaunpur, UP. The beauty with which the rural environment was shown in this film of Rajshree Productions won the hearts of people, but now after 43 years, this film is going to be released in theaters once again.
The screening of ‘Nadiya Ke Paar’ is being held at ‘House of Variety’, ‘Regent Cinema Campus’ and ‘Gandhi Maidan’ under the weekly program ‘Coffee with Film’ of Bihar State Film Development and Finance Corporation. This is a program started by the Bihar government through which the youth can be connected with the culture and land of Bihar.
This film was made for just Rs 18 lakh
Being able to see this film made under the banner of Rajshri Productions once again on the big screen will not only be a good news for the audience, but it is also a big opportunity for Rajshri Productions. The film ‘Nadiya Ke Paar’, directed by Govind Moonis, was a blockbuster hit of that era. Made at a cost of just Rs 18 lakh, this film had earned Rs 5 crore 40 lakh. ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ was also a remake of this
It is believed that the 1994 blockbuster film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ was a modern version of this film. In which the characters of Chandan and Gunja were replaced by Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Rajshree Productions has always been known for making light-hearted or family drama type films, this film also revolved around family, but the way it was down to earth touched the hearts of the audience.
