Nagarjuna's father Akkineni Nageswara Rao started his acting career in 1944 with the film 'Shri Sita Ram Jananam'. He worked in about 255 films in his 70 year long career. Which includes the names of great films like 'Vipra Narayan', 'Tenali Krishna', 'Shri Ramadasu', 'Laila Majnu' and 'Balaraju'.
