Organizing National Automobile Olympiad 2025
Successfully held at Bidadi plant in Karnataka
188 students from class VI to XII participated
Toyota Kirloskar Motor is a popular automobile company in the country. The company produces new vehicles for its customers. It provides new features and convenience to customers. Meanwhile Toyota By Kirloskar Motor (TKM). Karnatakasuccessfully hosted the National Automobile Olympiad (NAO) from 17 December to 19 December 2025 at its plant in Bidadi. The initiative represents a collaboration between the Automobile Skills Development Council (ASDC) and the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI), which is affiliated to the Skill India Mission. 188 students from classes VI to XII from India and UAE participated in the event, who were shortlisted from an initial pool of over 1,36,000 students from 970 schools in both countries.
‘NAO 2025’, the largest automobile skill development initiative for students globally, was inaugurated by eminent chief guests such as Automotive Skills Development Council Chairman Vinkesh Gulati and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Director Dr. Biswajit Sah. It also set the standard for the best automotive education for participants. The event included industry masterclasses, two rounds of competitions where participants were tested on their knowledge of automotive systems, robotics, welding precision, technical troubleshooting, future mobility concepts, as well as hands-on sessions led by industry experts. There were also training sessions.

The event concluded with the announcement of the winners after the grand finale, in which the champions in various categories were felicitated. Abir Verma from The Oriental School, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh bagged the first position in the Class VI to VIII category, while Aradhya Pradhan from Amity International School, Ghaziabad and Daksh Kumawat from New Digambar Public School, Indore bagged the second and third positions respectively. Anchit Sahai from Wisdom World School, Maharashtra won the first position, Arjun Annamalai from Sir Chaitanya School, Chennai got the second position, while Aambh Jain from Cambridge Court World School, Jaipur, Rajasthan got the third position in the Class IX to X category. In the Class XI to XII category, Nishant Sudhakar from Chennai Public School bagged the first position, followed by Vidhan Harpalani from Our Own High School, Dubai, and Punit Kumar from Toyota Technical Training Institute.
Among the selected participants, the top 188 top performing students, around 150 parents and teachers got the full TKM experience, which included plant visits, exposure to the prestigious TTTI, experience at the Gurukul facility, opportunities to network with industry professionals and experience driving Toyota vehicles on the test track.
Appreciating TKM’s initiative, Automotive Skills Development Council Chairman Vinkesh Gulati said, “The National Automobile Olympiad is a great way to hone young talent and also to see Generation Z as a viable career path for a meaningful vocation towards the automotive sector. Our commitment to inspire. We thank TKM for providing a world-class platform and best learning experience. The enthusiasm, inquisitiveness and talent shown by the students in India is very inspiring.”
