National conference of Jamiatul Quresh concluded in Birla Auditorium, emphasis given on education and unity.

The National Conference of All India Jamiatul Quraysh was ceremoniously organized at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur on Sunday. National officials of the organization, scholars, scientists, bureaucrats, eminent personalities from medical, education, religion and social fields from across the country participated in the conference. During the program, talents who made notable contributions in various fields were also honored.

While presiding over the conference, Jamiatul Qureshi National President Sirajuddin Qureshi described education as the basic foundation of progress of the society. He said that the issues and suggestions raised in the program will be seriously considered. He called upon everyone to connect their children with the mainstream of development by providing them modern and higher education.

National President of the women’s wing of the organization, Zeenat Qureshi stressed on increasing the participation of girls in education, trade and other fields. He expressed the need to make collective efforts to empower women and urged the people present to take pledge in this direction.

The program was conducted by the organization’s state president Haji Naeemuddin Qureshi and patron Chuttan Qureshi. Both the speakers called for forgetting mutual differences and moving the society forward with unity. He said that only social harmony and strength of organization paves the way for progress.

Chief guest and scientist Dr. Zaheeruddin said that we should adopt modern education along with Islamic values. He said that it is necessary to establish new dimensions for the country and society by achieving excellence in every field. Inspiring the youth, he said that we have to make the tricolor proud on the world stage.

Imran Qureshi, former national president of Jamiatul Qureshi Youth Wing, while emphasizing the importance of education, said that youth will have to play an active role for the overall progress of the society. He also stressed the need for stronger participation in democracy and moving forward in the political arena.

National Vice President of Jamiatul Qureshi, NRI Rafiq Dawood Qureshi (Bhadra) expressed concern over the lagging behind the Qureshi fraternity in the political and educational fields despite being in large numbers in proportion to the population. He described the work done by Bhamashah Dawood Qureshi for 36 communities as inspiring and exemplary.

Rajasthan President of Women’s Wing and outgoing Chairperson of Bhadra Municipality, Muskaan Qureshi, while emphasizing on social unity, said that bringing girls forward in the field of education is the need of the hour. He called for simplifying marriages by stopping wasteful expenditure and spending the money on children’s education.

Jaipur City District President Fasiuddin Qureshi and State General Secretary Khalid Qureshi highlighted the 100 years of history of the organization and laid special emphasis on the usefulness of education. Sadar Shabbir Qureshi Muhammadi of Jama Masjid Jaipur stressed the need for unity and economic empowerment of the society.

In the conference, senior members of All India Muslim Personal Law Board including Abu Talib Naumani, Yusuf Qureshi, Shabbir Khan and senior people and students from medical, education and other fields presented their views. All the speakers described education, social unity and economic strength as the basis of progress of the society.

In the end, State President Naeem Qureshi expressed his gratitude to all the visitors. The conference concluded with a message of social unity and progressive thinking.
