The inauguration of Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is a historic moment for the country’s infrastructure sector. Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani informed about this big achievement through social media. Airside operations have formally started at the airport from Thursday. This airport will prove to be a new flight to the aviation future not only of Mumbai but of entire India.
Result of Adani Group’s hard work
This grand airport Adani Airports Holdings Limited (AAHL) Developed and operated by Adani Enterprises, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited. It is one of the largest greenfield airport projects in India. Its main objective is to reduce the increasing pressure at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Completing such a big project in a short time shows the capability and commitment of Adani Group.
Patriotic spirit shown in the inauguration
Gautam Adani himself welcomed the passengers arriving on the first flight and interacted with the airport staff, ground workers and first-time passengers. After this he visited the terminal. The most emotional moment of the program came when Paramveer Chakra winner Captain Bana Singh and Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar Hoisted the tricolor and played the national anthem. On this occasion, veteran players like Suryakumar Yadav, Mithali Raj, Sunil Chhetri and many social media influencers were also present.
Sky decorated with 1515 drones
The sky of Navi Mumbai on the eve of the start of the operation 1515 drone show Sparkled with. Based on the theme ‘Rise of India’, the show featured 3D lotus, airport design, sustainable development and flying aircraft. This spectacle was witnessed with great enthusiasm by the young players, local people and the NMIA team.
