Navneet Rana’s controversial statement – ‘If we want to save the country from becoming Pakistan, Hindus will have to give birth to 4 children’
Maharashtra BJP leader Navneet Rana had given a controversial statement saying that Hindus should produce 3-4 children to save the country. Targeting a particular community, he even said that Hindus should have more children so that they can counter ‘their’ conspiracies, who think that by having more children, they will turn India into Pakistan.
This statement of Navneet Rana is being strongly opposed and the opposition is continuously attacking BJP. The general public is also criticizing Navneet Rana. Navneet Rana has claimed that he gave this statement because he had heard some Maulana saying so.
Navneet Rana says, “I am saying this very clearly, is it a Maulana or someone else… God knows who, but he openly says that he has four wives and 19 children. He also says that he is sad because he wanted 35 children. He says that he is ashamed of not having 35 children.”
The BJP leader further said, “I want to tell all Hindus that if they can say so, then we Hindus should also produce at least three or four children. They are born in India but want to make this country Pakistan by producing more children. Why are we happy with just one child? We should also produce three or four children.”
Navneet Rana had fiercely targeted Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray. Amid reports of Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray coming together, he said, “Uddhav Thackeray has become synonymous with helplessness.” He did not take his workers out to campaign for the Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat elections. Even if someone associates with Uddhav Thackeray, his performance will be worse than the local body elections.
