Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection List Released at navodaya.gov.in; Check Your Roll Number Now

JNVST Class 6 Result 2026: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has recently released the results for the Class 6 admission test. Students who appeared for the admission test held in December 2025 can check their selection test results via the official NVS website, navodaya.gov.in. To check their results, students will need their Roll Number and Date of Birth. The process of document verification and admission, based on the merit list, will now commence.

Students will be required to visit their allotted school to submit the necessary documents. There is no admission fee for entry into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. Approximately 2 million students had applied for this admission test.

How to Secure Admission

At the time of admission, every selected student must present all relevant original certificates as prescribed by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Selection in the examination is provisional in nature. Candidates are advised to apply for a Transfer Certificate (TC) from their previous school only after their documents have been verified, and the respective JNV has confirmed their admission.

Selection Process: Document Verification, Medical Check-up, Filling out the Admission Form, and School Allotment.

NVS will release a waitlist for students placed on standby, in addition to the list of selected candidates. For admission-related formalities, parents must contact the Navodaya Vidyalaya located in their respective district.

Please note that no tuition fee is charged for classes 6 through 8 at Navodaya Vidyalayas. Education, hostel accommodation, meals, textbooks, and uniforms are all provided free of cost. A nominal fee applies to classes 9 through 12 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.

How to Check JNVST Class 6 Result 2026?

First, visit the official website: navodaya.gov.in

Click on ‘Latest @ NVS’.

Click on ‘JNVST Class 6 Result 2026’. Select the ‘View Individual Result’ option.
Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Upon clicking ‘Submit’, your JNVST Class 6 Result 2026 will appear.
Download the result page and take a printout.
