Navrati Special Bhog: Today, on March 22, on the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri 2026, the fourth form of Shakti, Maa Kushmanda, is being worshipped. To please the Goddess, her favorite offering Malpua has special significance. If you do not have much time then quick recipes can be prepared.
Relationship between mother Kushmanda and Malpua
According to religious beliefs, Mother Kushmanda is very fond of sweets, especially Malpua. It is said that the Goddess is pleased with this offering and bestows the devotee with the blessings of wisdom, fame and health. Generally it takes a lot of time to make Malpua but Paneer Malpua is one such option which tastes amazing and gets prepared very quickly.
Material
You will need very few ingredients to make this special prasad.
- Paneer: 200 grams (mashed)
- Khoya/Mawa: 100 grams (optional)
- Maida or buckwheat flour: 3-4 tbsp (choose according to the fast)
- Milk: As required (to make batter)
- Sugar: 1 cup (for syrup)
- Cardamom powder: half teaspoon
- Saffron and dry fruits: for decoration
- Ghee: for frying
Method of preparation

First of all, put one cup sugar and half cup water in a pan and boil it. Add cardamom powder and some saffron leaves to it. Turn off the gas just before one string of syrup is formed. Keep it aside.

Prepare the batter
In a mixer jar, add mashed paneer, some milk and refined flour (or fasting flour). Stir it once so that a smooth and thick solution is prepared. Keep in mind that the solution should neither be too thin nor too thick.
Fry Malpua
Now heat pure desi ghee in a wide pan or kadhai. With the help of a large spoon, gently pour the batter into the ghee and shape it into a round shape. Fry it on medium flame until it turns golden brown on both sides. Due to the cheese, it will become very soft and meshy.

Put the fried hot Malpua directly in the prepared syrup. Let them remain immersed in the syrup for 2-3 minutes so that they become juicy from inside.
Garnishing and enjoyment
Finally, take out the Malpuas in a plate and garnish with chopped pistachios, almonds and saffron. Your Pure Satvik ‘Paneer Malpua’ Is ready.
