Navratri Day 4: Mother Kushmanda is very fond of offering Malpua, make soft and juicy Prasad at home with this easy method.

News India Live, Digital Desk: On the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri 2026, Adiswarupa Maa Kushmanda is being worshiped on the fourth day today. According to religious beliefs, Mother Kushmanda is very fond of offering Malpua. It is said that offering Malpua to Mother Goddess on this day develops intelligence and increases decision making power. If you also want to please Mata Rani on this auspicious occasion, then instead of bringing it from the market, you can prepare Malpua at home in a pure and virtuous way. Let us know the easiest step-by-step method to make it. Ingredients required for making Malpua: To make Malpua for mother’s enjoyment, you will need some basic things. For this, you will need 1 cup wheat flour (or maida), half cup semolina (rava), half cup grated khoya (mawa), 1 cup milk (for making batter), half cup sugar, cardamom powder, some chopped dry fruits (almonds and pistachios) and pure desi ghee for frying. Separately keep 1 cup sugar and half cup water ready for the syrup. Correct way to prepare the solution: First of all, mix flour, semolina and grated mawa in a big vessel. Now slowly add milk to it and prepare a thick and smooth batter. Be careful that there are no lumps in the solution. Add a little fennel powder and cardamom powder to this mixture, this doubles the taste of Malpua. Cover the prepared solution and keep it aside for at least 30 minutes so that the semolina swells properly. Process of syrup and frying: Prepare a thick syrup by adding sugar and water in a separate pan. You can also add some saffron leaves to it. Now heat desi ghee in a wide pan. With the help of a large spoon, pour the batter in the middle of the ghee. Malpua will take shape automatically. Fry it on medium flame until it becomes golden brown on both sides. After frying, put it directly in lukewarm syrup and let it soak for 2-3 minutes. Apply Bhog to Maa Kushmanda like this. Take out the Malpuas from the syrup and decorate them in a beautiful plate. Add finely chopped almonds and pistachio slivers on top. After worshiping Goddess Kushmanda, offer this hot and juicy Malpua. Remember that Mata Rani loves things made with purity and devotion. Malpuas made with this method will not only be soft, but their taste will also appeal to everyone.
