Mother Skandamata Puja: Today, March 23, is the fifth day of Chaitra Navratri. Which is dedicated to the worship of Skandmata, the fifth form of Mother Bhagwati. In the scriptures, the fifth form of Mother Durga has got this name from Lord Kartikeya and in this form, the motherly form of Mother Durga is worshipped.

It is said that, by worshiping Skandmata chances of having a child They are strong and their children get special blessings for their safety and progress. This puja is considered extremely fruitful for those who are worried about their children.

• Brahma Muhurta- 05:06 am to 05:53 am
• Abhijit Muhurta- 12:21 pm to 01:09 pm
• The time of puja-aarti in the evening – 06:50 pm to 08:01 pm

How to worship Skandmata

• First of all, install the statue or picture of Skandamata on the post.
• After this, purify with Ganga water or cow urine.
• Fill a silver, copper or clay pitcher with water and place the urn on it.
• at the same post Shree GaneshAlso establish Varun, Navagraha, Shodash Matrika (16 Goddesses), Sapt Ghrit Matrika (apply seven vermilion dots).
• After this, take a resolution of fasting and worship and perform Shodshopachara worship of all the established deities including Skandmata through Vedic and Saptashati mantras.
• In this, do invocation, asana, padya, arghya, achaman, bath, clothes, good luck formula, sandalwood, roli, turmeric, vermilion, durva, bilvapatra, jewellery, flower-necklace, fragrant liquid, incense-lamp, naivedya, fruits, paan, dakshina, aarti, pradakshina, mantra, flower offering etc. After that, complete the puja by distributing Prasad.
