Naxalism is over, now it is the turn of development… Amit Shah said in Bastar –

Knews Desk– Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a big announcement during his visit to Bastar in Chhattisgarh and said that now the security camps will be converted into “Seva Dera” i.e. public convenience centres. The process of converting the paramilitary forces camp into a service center was started in Netanar, Bastar. The government is considering this as a new beginning of development after the end of Naxalism.

Every government facility will reach tribals

Amit Shah said that in the areas where there was once a fear of Naxal violence, now development and public service work will be done there. He said that in the new service centres, facilities related to banking, Aadhar card, ration card and government schemes will be available at one place. The benefits of 371 schemes of the Central and State Government will be extended to the people through the Common Service Centre.

He said that within a year, a target has been set to take the government directly from Raipur to the villages of Bastar, so that people do not have to go to the city for small works.

Naxalism is over, now it is the turn of development

The Home Minister said that Bastar has seen the horrific picture of Naxalite violence. He told that sometimes people’s feet were blown away due to IED blasts here and children were picked up from school. But now the security forces have eliminated those who spread terror. According to Shah, about 3000 Naxalites have surrendered. There are many people among them who do not even know how to read and write. He told that with the help of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, adult education is being given to thousands of people.

Emphasis on employment through dairy and forest produce

Amit Shah talked about implementing a model based on dairy and forest produce to increase employment in Bastar. He said that with the help of National Dairy Development Board, dairy model will be started in every village and tribal women will be given two animals each. Apart from this, a cooperative model will be prepared at the national level for packaging, branding and marketing of forest produce. The government believes that this will increase the income of tribal families and create new employment opportunities.

NID will design the camps

The Home Minister said that the responsibility will be given to the National Institute of Design to develop these service centers in a better way. About 70 camps of Bastar will be converted into public convenience centers in a phased manner. He said that Bastar will no longer be known for violence, but for development and self-reliance.
