Actually, actor Dhanush has refused to give NOC for the use of music and some scenes of the 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan for the documentary. After which Nayantara has openly accused actor Dhanush of having personal enmity against her through an Instagram post.
Nayanthara blamed Dhanush
Nayantara has shared a post on Instagram, in which she has written an open letter to actor Dhanush. In which he wrote, Dear Dhanush ke Raja, son Kasturi Raja, son Selvaragavan… I have written this open letter to you to correct many mistakes. With the support of your father Kasthuri Raja, under the guidance of your brother Selvaragavan, great directors, you must have become a famous actor in the film industry. I entered the challenging film industry alone without any background and have reached where I am today through my hard work and true dedication.

Further Nayantara wrote, My fans who love me and are aware of my journey in the industry. Like me, many of my fans and well-wishers are waiting for Nayanthara Beyond the Fairy Tale documentary. Which will be released on Netflix. To fulfill the passion of the fans, all the people working on it have overcome various difficulties and completed all the work and now we are ready for release.

Further attacking Dhanush, Nayantara wrote, 'This Netflix documentary about me, my life, my love and marriage includes clips from many well-wishers from the industry who have generously contributed and memories from many films, But sadly, the most special and important film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan is not included in it. After waiting for NOC approval from you for 2 years, we decided to compromise. You did not give us NOC because of your personal enmity with us. But the most shocking thing was that as soon as the trailer of the documentary was released, a notice of Rs 10 crore was sent on the 3-second BTS video. This shows that this is your lowest level ever and it tells about your personality. Legal notice has been received and we will respond to it legally.
