NBCC Q3 Results: Net profit jumps 39.3% YoY to Rs 193 crore, revenue up 7.6%
NBCC (India) Limited announced its Q3 results, reporting a strong year-on-year rise in net profit, while EBITDA and margins witnessed pressure during the quarter.
The state-run construction and project management company posted a net profit of ₹193 crore in Q3, up 39.3% compared to ₹138.5 crore in the same quarter last year. The sharp increase in profit reflects improved execution and better project realisations during the period.
Revenue from operations rose 7.6% YoY to ₹3,022 crore, compared to ₹2,809 crore in Q3 of the previous fiscal. The steady growth in topline indicates continued traction in order execution and project billing.
However, EBITDA declined 21% to ₹114.5 crore from ₹144.7 crore in the year-ago quarter. Operating performance came under pressure, which was reflected in margin contraction.
EBITDA margin stood at 3.8% in Q3, down from 5.2% in the corresponding quarter last year. The margin compression suggests higher input costs and execution-related expenses impacting operating profitability despite higher revenue and net profit growth.
