On Feb. 8, a Tet program was held at Binh Minh Border Guard Station, bringing together border guard officers and local residents.
Nearly 300 households from Thang Truong Commune, Thang An Commune, and the Binh Minh coastal area took part in activities such as making chung sticky rice cakes, cooking contests, and folk games. With support from sponsors, including Hoiana Resort & Golf, participants received essential goods such as rice, chung cakes, and roasted seeds at the Zero-dong Market, along with red envelopes. Organizers said the program aimed to assist families with Tet preparations and strengthen community connections.
“We are delighted to accompany the community every year to help bring a warmer Tet to local residents. Improving livelihoods, supporting children in their schooling, and enhancing the quality of life for local communities remain core priorities in our plan this year. With a commitment to creating sustainable, meaningful impact, we will continue expanding our partnerships to implement even more impactful initiatives,” said Alan Teo, Chief Executive Officer of Hoiana Resort & Golf.

Lieutenant Colonel Van Thanh Loc, Head of Cua Dai Border Guard Station, said Hoiana’s support over the past five years has contributed to local assistance efforts. “Hoiana is not just a business operating in the area, but a trusted friend and partner, ready to stand with local people in times of need I hope we will continue to work closely on community initiatives and create positive, lasting impacts for disadvantaged coastal households,” he said.
On Feb. 11, Hoiana worked with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Duy Nghia Commune to organize another zero-dong market. More than 300 households attended and received essential goods and local produce such as rice, fish sauce, meat, and sugar for Tet preparations.

Earlier, on Feb. 1, Hoiana partnered for the first time with the Children’s Education Foundation (CEF), an Australian nonprofit organization supporting disadvantaged children in Da Nang, to provide Tet gifts to 17 students in Duy Nghia Commune who were heavily affected by recent flooding. According to the resort, the partnership is part of its broader plan to expand cooperation with organizations supporting women and children.
