Neeraj Goyat dominates, overpowers Whindersson Nunes in epic showdown

New Delhi: Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat outboxed the Brazilian Whindersson Nunes in all six rounds. Goyat won the bout via unanimous decision with a score of 60-54 which means Goyat won all six rounds with awarded 10 points in every round.

Goyat looked great in the fight, and he dominated the fight in the first round. He shot some body shots at Nunes in the initial minutes of the fight. After that, he stunned Nunes with a left hook and easily dominated the first round.

In the second round, Nunes was pushing hard by throwing some punches but Goyat was defensive well in the round. Goyat pushed Nunes into the corner of the ring and threw some combinations on him.

With the third round started, Nunes was looking exhausted and Goyat was walking all over the ring. Goyat dominated the fight and hit him with a left and right hook. He also poked Nunes by standing backside on him at the end of the round.

Goyat was waiting for his chances and caught him with punches every time. Nunes’ defense was not great at all and the proper inexperience of a professional boxer was shown in front of the 75,000 fans.

In the last moment of the fight, Goyat was throwing punches consecutively. Goyat landed 171 punches in the fight, while Nunes only landed 87 punches which shows the proper dominance of the Indian fighter at the global level.

The boxing fans thought the fight between the Indian boxer and Whindersson Nunes would not be thrilling or fun but Neeraj Goyat used his experience and entertain the crowd. It was the first fight on the main card and set the tone for Paul vs Tyson later in the night.

While Goyat was punching hard but Nunes wasn’t clipping backward as he was pushing forward every time and didn’t fear anything.
