NEET-UG 2025: NTA announced, the exam will be held in pen and paper mode only.

NEET-UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made a big announcement on Thursday regarding the medical entrance examination NEET-UG 2025. Like before, this examination will be conducted on pen and paper mode (OMR) based. The examination will be held on the same day and in the same shift. With this announcement, the ongoing speculations regarding the exam pattern have come to a complete end.

Let us tell you that during NEET-UG 2024, there were allegations of alleged rigging in the examination, after which the discussion started that the pattern of the examination can be changed. Recommendations were also made to conduct the examination on hybrid or Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Due to this, a situation of confusion had arisen among students, parents and coaching institutes.

According to Kota's career counseling expert Parijat Mishra, this change was proposed with the aim of making the examination more transparent and fair for students. But now NTA has made it clear that the exam will be held in traditional pen and paper mode only.

Through NEET-UG 2025, students will get admission to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing, and traditional Indian medicine courses like BAMS (Ayurveda), BHMS (Homeopathy), BUMS (Unani) and BSMS (Siddha). The National Medical Commission (NMC) has also agreed to conduct the examination on pen and paper mode.

NTA has also announced that the notification related to the registration process of NEET-UG 2025 will be released soon. Along with this, information about exam dates and other rules will also be made public.
