NEET UG Re Exam Updates: NTA (National Testing Agency) has released a big update for lakhs of students appearing for the re-examination of NEET UG 2026. NEET 2026 examination will be conducted across the country on June 21, 2026. Keeping in mind the convenience of the students, NTA has made some important changes. Now students appearing for NEET exam will get additional time of 15 minutes, due to which students will get more time to solve the paper. Apart from this, space for rough work has also been increased in the question paper. NTA has made this change completely keeping in mind the convenience of the students.

All administrative procedures related to the examination will also be completed within this stipulated time. NTA says that this decision has been taken only after the feedback received from the candidates. With this, students will get enough time to solve the paper and they will not have to face any kind of problem due to administrative process.
More space for rough work in question paper
Apart from this, now students will get more space for rough work than before. For this, NTA has decided to add extra pages in the question paper, so that enough space can be provided for making calculations and diagrams. Let us tell you that earlier space for rough work was given only at the end of the question paper, but now pages for rough work will be available at the beginning of the question paper also. With this, students will not need to turn the back pages again and again and they will be able to do their rough work very easily.

NTA issued instructions for students
Necessary instructions have also been issued by NTA for lakhs of NEET candidates. NTA has advised the students to read the instructions given in the admit card and information bulletin very carefully and strictly follow all the rules at the examination centre.
