NEET UG 2026 Refund: Big relief for students, will be able to update bank details till July 14

New Delhi: National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has given relief news for the candidates of NEET UG 2026. Let us tell you, now students will get one more chance to update the bank account details for the fee refund of the examination canceled on 3rd May 2026. Those who have not yet filled the information can submit their details on the portal till 11:50 pm on 14th July 2026.

How many students have received refund?

NTA said in the notice issued on July 7 that till now about 10,28,223 candidates have updated and confirmed their bank account information, due to which the refund process has started for these students. But according to the agency, a large number of candidates have still not filled the bank details. For this reason, NTA has decided to ensure refund to everyone by extending the time limit. The agency says that completing the information by the last date will not delay the refund.

How to update bank details

If you have not completed the process yet, go to the NEET UG 2026 registration portal and follow these steps:

Visit the website and login to neet.nta.nic.in

After login, open account with your application number and password.

Complete the verification and authentication process

Click on bank account details option

Fill in your account number, IFSC code and name correctly

If you want, you can also upload canceled check for verification.

Submit the form before 14th July 2026 at 11:50 pm

Important things to pay attention to

NTA has made it clear that after July 14, the link to update bank details on the portal will be closed, so do not delay. Refund may get stuck if wrong information is given, so check the account number and IFSC code twice. Let us tell you that since the cancellation of the examination, students were waiting for the refund of fees. NTA has assured that refund will be sent soon to the accounts of those whose data has been verified. Rest of the candidates have also been advised to update the information on time.
