NEET-UG Paper Leak Supreme Court Gave 2 more weeks time News In Hindi: The Supreme Court on Monday directed the seven-member expert panel appointed by the Center under the chairmanship of former Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) chief K Radhakrishnan to be tested by the National Testing Agency on May 5. The deadline for submitting its report on NEET-UG reforms has been extended by two weeks following reports of irregularities in the examination held on 2017.

A bench of Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud, and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Mishra granted more time after hearing the submission of solicitor Janrat Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre, who said that the time to file the report of the expert committee The limit is coming to an end.

The top court also took into account the fact that the expert panel's report is almost complete. In an application the government requested the court to modify its judgment of August 2, 2024 to allow more time for the committee to submit its report.
