Negligence towards public problems is not forgivable, resolve every complaint within time limit – District Magistrate

On Monday, District Magistrate Charchal Gaur listened to the problems of the common people with seriousness and sensitivity in the public hearing room located in the Collectorate premises. In the public hearing, complainants from different areas presented complaints related to revenue, development, social security, drinking water, housing and other public interests. Taking cognizance of each case, the District Magistrate gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers on the spot.
The District Magistrate clearly directed that timely and quality disposal of all the complaints received in the public hearing should be ensured. He said that negligence or unnecessary delay will not be tolerated at any level. The District Magistrate instructed all the officers to maintain transparency in the disposal of complaints and information about the progress should also be made available to the complainant.
He also directed all the departmental officers to hold public hearings by compulsorily being present in their respective offices every day from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and to listen to the problems of the common people on priority basis and ensure their prompt resolution. The District Magistrate said that it is the primary responsibility of the administration to deliver the benefits of various public welfare schemes of the government to the eligible beneficiaries on time. Therefore, all the officers should work with full commitment, so that the public can get relief from their problems quickly and they can get timely benefits of the schemes.
