Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia recently set the record straight on the long-standing speculation related to the timeline of their relationship.
The fingers duo, who welcomed their first child in November 2018, reflected on how their unexpected pregnancy changed things for them.
During their appearance on Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiya’s podcast, Bedi, 43, opened up about his one-sided love for Neha.
Speaking exclusively, he said, “I was after Neha for 8 years. I kept going after her all that time, but she never said yes, she was very busy.”
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl actor took a trip down his memory lane and opened up about his first interaction with the Shut up star.
“When I saw her for the first time, I thought she was very beautiful,” he added. “She was running on a treadmill and I was standing behind just watching and thinking what amazing form. I fell in love with her running form. I was like, she’s an athlete.
Later in the conversation, the Single Papa actress shared the impact of their untimely pregnancy on their relationship.
Expressing gratitude, she shared, “I want to say thank God we got pregnant , she is the blessing that brought the love story. Otherwise, you keep looking around. The love you’re searching for is right next to you, but we always look far away. He was right there next to me the whole time.”
It is pertinent to mention that Neha, 45, and Bedi sparked speculation among fans after they welcomed their daughter Mehr in November 2018.
Fans started talking about their relationship timeline.
In a separate conversation with Peeping MoonNeha addressed the curiosity, saying, “Let me set the record straight, yes I was pregnant before I got married so it’s fine.”
For the unversed, Neha and Bedi tied the knot in May 2018.
