Meanwhile, the actor is once again in the news, but this time Neil is in the headlines not for any film but for one of his posts. While sharing a post on his Instagram story, Neil Nitin Mukesh has said that he is breaking ties with the singing reality show ‘The Universal Idol’. Yes, the actor has announced to leave the brand ambassadorship of the singing reality show. Along with this, the actor has accused the organizers of not paying the fees and has also warned other artists of the industry to stay away from such frauds. The actor told that despite assurances being given to him many times, he was not paid.
Neil Nitin Mukesh shared a statement on his Instagram story. In this he told that he has decided to separate from the show ‘The Universal Idol’ associated with ‘HMC Events’. He wrote in his post, ‘I am formally resigning from the post of brand ambassador of HMC Events’ ‘The Universal Idol’. Despite repeated promises, I was not given the agreed payment amount. The three checks that were given also bounced. This shows a serious lack of trust and responsibility. My team and I have contacted and given opportunities several times to resolve this issue amicably, but regrettably no solution has been reached.
The actor further wrote in this post – ‘Keeping all these things in mind, I am separating from all my existing and future relations with Universal Idol, HMC Events and Mr. Shakeel Haasan and his associates with immediate effect. I am sharing this note so that other artists, vendors and partners should be cautious and thoroughly investigate any claims, promises and payments. I reserve all rights to pursue appropriate remedies available under law.
