Death Zone on Everest
Famous mountaineer Chris Thrall and Nepalese guide Hillary Dawa Sherpa successfully climbed the 8849 meter high peak at around 5 pm on May 29. After this great success, on May 30, both of them were descending from Camp Four, which is situated at an altitude of 7950 meters. This snowy area is a very dangerous ‘death zone’ due to severe lack of oxygen and bad weather. It is believed. It was here that the Sherpas sat down to rest for a while with their heavy bags and the two companions parted ways forever.
bad weather and long climb
Chris Thrall told in his video that the return journey had become very long and tiring due to bad weather. The mountaineering journey which should normally have been completed in 5 days, took a long time of 11 days. After Sherpa disappeared in a terrible snow storm, many search teams made a huge and extensive effort to find him. Finally on Thursday morning, this brave guide, with his amazing and indomitable courage, crawled on the snow and reached the base camp safely.
