Australian fast bowler Michael Neser bowled a fast ball, which Stokes tried to defend, but the ball hit his private part, due to which he groaned in pain.

A video of this incident has also gone viral on social media. It is clearly visible in the video that after being hit by the ball, Stokes immediately retreats and falls on the field in pain. His teammates and the team’s medical staff immediately arrive to help him. However, after a few minutes he composed himself and continued playing.

Australia’s great victory

Talking about the match, England scored 241 runs in their second innings and gave Australia a target of 65 runs. Australia achieved this target easily in just 10 overs and won by 8 wickets. With this victory, Australia has taken a 2-0 lead in the Ashes series. Australia had scored 511 runs in the first test. England scored 334 runs in the first innings and 241 runs in the second innings, but they could not manage to score big.
