Standard Ad-Free Plan: The company has increased the price of the Standard Ad-Free plan by $2.50 to $17.99 per month.

Ad-Supported Plan: The company has increased the price of the ad-supported plan by $1 to $7.99 per month.

Premium Plan: The company has increased the price of the premium plan by $2 to $24.99 per month.

When will the new prices come into effect?

According to the information, the prices will be applicable immediately for new customers. While for existing customers the new prices will be applicable from the next billing cycle.

Why were the prices increased?

Netflix said in a letter that the company is continuously investing in its programming and trying to provide high value content to its members. For this reason, from time to time the company has to make its plans expensive so that Netflix can be made even better.

Record increase in Q4 2024

This price increase comes at a time when Netflix added 18.9 million new subscribers in its Q4 2024 report. This is the company's biggest quarterly growth so far. Netflix now has 300 million global subscribers.
