The conflict between the two famous stars of the Tamil film industry, Dhanush and Nayanthara, has intensified. Dhanush has filed a case in the Madras High Court against Nayanthara, her husband Vignesh Shivan, and their production company Rudy Pictures Pvt. Ltd. Dhanush claims that the scenes of his production film “Nanam Rudy Dhan” were included in Netflix’s documentary “Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tail” without his permission.
Dhanush’s production company Wonderbar Films Pvt Ltd also sought permission to file a case against the Indian branch of Netflix content, Los Gates Production Services India LLP, which was approved by the Madras High Court.
Dhanush had asked Nayanthara through a legal notice last week to remove the material within 24 hours. The notice said that if the material was not removed, Dhanush would claim damages of Rs 10 crore.
Nayanthara criticized Dhanush’s move on Instagram and called it “disappointing”. She thanked other producers including Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan who allowed their scenes to be used without hesitation for his documentary.
