Tea is the most loved drink in India. Be it the beginning of the morning or to get rid of evening fatigue, tea helps on every occasion. But if wrong things are consumed with tea, it can have a bad effect on health. Let us know which things should not be eaten with tea.
1. Iron rich things
Tannins present in tea can reduce the absorption of iron in the body.
If you are taking iron-rich foods like spinach, lentils or iron supplements, do not drink the tea immediately. Due to this the body does not get complete nutrition.

Eating sour fruits like orange or lemon with tea can cause acidity and discomfort in the stomach.
👉 Keep a gap of at least 30–60 minutes between tea and citrus fruits.
🍬 3. Too many sweet or fried foods
Biscuits, pakodas or other fried snacks are often eaten with tea. But this combination can cause weight gain and poor digestion.
👉 Choose healthy snacks like roasted gram or dry fruits.

- Do not take more than 2–3 cups a day
- Don’t add too much sugar
