Never make these mistakes while bathing in winter, the risk of heart attack may increase.
One has to take special care of one's health during the winter season because physical and mental problems increase rapidly due to extreme cold. According to a research, the possibility of heart attack is highest in winter. More than 53 percent of heart attacks are seen during extreme cold. In such a situation, it is important to take special care of your heart during the winter season.
cold water bath
During the winter season, many people take bath with cold water early in the morning. People believe that bathing with cold water keeps the body active and removes laziness. However, bathing with cold water in winters and starting with the head can be dangerous. This increases the risk of brain stroke. Actually, blood circulation happens from top to bottom i.e. from head to toe, if cold water is poured directly on the head then the blood vessels of the brain shrink. The head starts getting cold due to which blood circulation gets affected. In such a situation, there is a risk of heart attack or brain nerve rupture. To avoid this, apply water first on the feet and then on other parts of the body.
Don't wake up suddenly in winter
In winter, when you sleep, the arteries remain clogged. In such a situation the blood flow slows down. Getting up and starting your work suddenly can increase blood pressure, which can lead to dizziness, fainting and even heart attack.
Avoid using heaters.
The heat from the heater absorbs moisture from the air and reduces oxygen levels, as well as increases carbon monoxide, which can lead to dehydration. Dehydration causes the blood to thicken and the heart has difficulty pumping blood. In such a situation, keeping the house excessively warm in winter with appliances like heaters or blowers can be harmful.
Do not wear woolen clothes while sleeping.
The warm conductors hidden in wool fibers keep body heat trapped inside the clothes. In such a situation, the temperature of the upper part of the body decreases and the internal temperature is not controlled, due to which the body temperature keeps increasing for 7-8 hours at night. This can cause problems in blood pressure and breathing. It also affects heart health.
