The state government has approved the widening and strengthening of Bhagalpur-Amarpur-Banka State Highway-25. After the completion of this project, travel between Bhagalpur and Banka will become easier, safer and faster than before. People who have been facing the problem of bad roads and jams for a long time are expected to get great relief from this scheme.
The picture of the road will change with Rs 239 crore
The government has given administrative approval of Rs 239.33 crore for this project. Under this, about 44 km long State Highway-25 will be developed as a two-lane road with paved shoulders as per modern standards. Due to widening of the road, movement of vehicles will be easier and travel time will also be reduced.
Journey from Bhagalpur to Banka will be easy
This route connecting Bhagalpur, Amarpur and Banka is included in the major connectivity routes of South Bihar. Every day thousands of people use this road for job, education, business and other important works. These problems are expected to reduce significantly after the construction of the new two-lane road.
Construction work will start after tender
After getting the administrative approval for the project, the next step will be the tender process. Road construction work will be started after the construction agency is selected. The work of this project will be done under the supervision of Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited (BSRDCL).
Target to be completed by 2028
The Road Construction Department has set a target to complete this ambitious project by the year 2028. If the construction work is completed on time, there will be a major change in the transport system between Bhagalpur and Banka.
