New avenues open for investment, ‘Japan Industrial City’ to be built on 500 acres in Noida: CM Yogi

Tokyo, 25 February. After Singapore, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is on a two-day visit to Japan, made a big statement on Wednesday regarding investment and industrial cooperation. He said that a special ‘Japan Industrial City’ is being developed for Japanese investors near Noida International Airport, the construction process of which has been advanced.

500 Industrial city will be developed in acres

This industrial city will be developed in an area of ​​approximately 500 acres. Its objective is to provide world-class industrial infrastructure to Japanese companies. The Chief Minister formally invited industry representatives from Japan to invest in Uttar Pradesh.

Safe and transparent environment for investors

The Chief Minister assured that the state government is providing a safe, transparent and industry-friendly environment to the investors. In the last 9 years, 16 domestic and 4 international airports have started operating in the state, which has significantly improved connectivity.

Jewar airport will give new impetus to development

CM Yogi said that Noida International Airport, which is going to be India’s largest airport, will be operational soon. This airport being built in Jewar will give a new impetus to the industrial and economic development of Western Uttar Pradesh. 27 business parks will be developed around the airport, which will create thousands of employment opportunities and provide a better investment platform to global companies.

Increasing interest of foreign companies

He said that many Japanese companies have shown positive interest in investing in Noida area and some have also invested. Indian and foreign companies are continuously contacting Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority area. He said that the state government is working on the principle of ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and all possible support is being provided to the investors.

Steps towards becoming an Asian investment center

It is noteworthy that before this the Chief Minister had also visited Singapore, where the path of investment worth thousands of crores of rupees was paved. Now, through the Japan tour, another important step has been taken towards making Uttar Pradesh a major center of Asian investment. With the operationalization of Jewar Airport, the pace of development in Western Uttar Pradesh is expected to accelerate.
