New decree of Bihar government, 3 big good news for land owners

Patna. The state government is continuously taking new steps to make land related matters in Bihar more transparent and easier. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has taken many important decisions in recent times, which are going to directly benefit lakhs of land owners, ryots and farmers.

1.Land documents will be available online

The state government has taken a big step towards making land related documents completely digital. Now records and documents related to land will be made available online. The department has made it clear that offline copies of documents will not be issued. With this system, people will reduce the need to visit government offices and important documents can be obtained sitting at home.

2. Corruption and irregularities will be controlled

The department has taken strict steps to increase transparency in land related services. Complaints were being received continuously in matters like refinement, filing-rejection, land rent and land measurement. Keeping these problems in mind, the online system has been further strengthened. After the implementation of the new system, there will be a digital record of every process, which will make monitoring of irregularities easier.

3. Pending filed-dismissed cases will be resolved expeditiously

The third major relief for land owners is regarding resolution of pending cases. The government has directed the officials to dispose of the pending applications, rejections and other land related applications as soon as possible. It has been reported that a large number of applications are pending at various levels in the state. Now emphasis is being laid on settling these cases within the stipulated time limit so that people do not have to wait unnecessarily and land related services can be provided on time.

Big step towards modernizing the land system

In fact, digitization of land records in Bihar and making the processes online will make the land administration in the state more modern and transparent. This will provide convenience to land owners, speed up government work and will also help in reducing disputes.
