New development in Tanya Mittal-Faizan Ansari dispute, Faizan sought police protection; Accused of receiving threats

Mumbai/Gwalior. There has been a new twist in the ongoing dispute between social media influencer Tanya Mittal and Faizan Ansari. Faizan Ansari has reached Gwalior and given a new application in the Superintendent of Police (SP) office demanding his security. He has alleged that he is being pressurized to withdraw the complaint lodged earlier and he is continuously receiving threatening calls.

Application submitted to SP office

On Thursday, Faizan Ansari reached the SP office and gave a written complaint. In the application, he said that he is being called continuously from different mobile numbers and is allegedly being threatened to withdraw the complaint. He has demanded from the police to investigate the matter impartially and provide security.

Cited six months old dispute

According to Faizan, the dispute started about six months ago. He claims that at that time Tanya Mittal had taken action against a person named Balraj Sahni at Mumbai Airport. After this, on the request of Balraj and their common acquaintance Simmi Rajput, he reached Gwalior and filed a complaint against Tanya Mittal demanding an impartial investigation into the matter.

Statement recorded in old case

Faizan told that Gwalior Police had called him on July 2 to give his statement in the earlier registered case. On Thursday, he reached the university police station and recorded his statement for about two hours. After this he directly reached the SP office and submitted a new complaint.

Serious allegations against those who made threats

Faizan Ansari alleges that the people threatening him claim to be connected to the underworld and influential persons of Uttar Pradesh. He claims that he was warned to withdraw the case within an hour, due to which he has serious fears about his safety.

FIR and demand for security

Faizan has demanded the police to register an FIR against Tanya Mittal, her brother and her mother and conduct an impartial investigation into the entire matter. He also said that if any untoward incident happens to him, it will be the responsibility of Tanya Mittal and her family.

At present, the police has received the application of Faizan Ansari and has said that after investigating the complaint, further action will be taken as per rules. At the same time, no official response has come yet from Tanya Mittal or her family in this matter.
