FASTag Recharge Plan: An important news has emerged for those traveling on highways across the country. Now there is going to be a little more burden on your pocket, because the price of FASTag Annual Pass has been increased. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has decided to implement this new rate from April 1, 2026.

How expensive is FASTag pass now?

Till now FASTag annual pass was available for Rs 3,000, but now it has been increased by Rs 75. That means now you will get this pass for Rs 3,075. This change may seem small, but it is going to have a direct impact for regular travelers.

What is FASTag Annual Pass?

FASTag Annual Pass is a prepaid toll plan specially designed for people who frequently travel on highways or expressways. The biggest feature of this plan is that once payment is made, there is no need for frequent recharge. This pass is valid for 1 year or till 200 tolls are crossed, whichever is earlier.

Why was the price increased?

According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), this increase has been made under the National Highway Fee Rules 2008. The government says that the use of FASTag Annual Pass is increasing rapidly and till now more than 56 lakh people have taken advantage of it.

Enter your vehicle details and FASTag ID
Make sure FASTag is active
Then make payment through UPI, Net Banking, Debit or Credit Card

After payment, your pass will be linked to the same FASTag ID and you will get confirmation through SMS.
